2. Calcination stage: When the kiln temperature rises to a certain level, the material starts to undergo oxidation reaction to produce zinc oxide and fumes.

3. Reduction stage: The material continues to move forward and passes through the reduction area, reducing zinc oxide to metal oxides and gases.

4. Cooling stage: The material passes through the cooling area at the discharge end, cools and is discharged from the kiln.
